Back to Work

So i went back to work on monday, it was really hard to leave kaitlyn for that long. The night before i went back was really rough kate didnt want to sleep at all and she was crying all night long, i was crying to :( Alan tried to help he sent me to bed and tried to feed her and calm her down but nothing was working so i got up and took her to the living room and held her on my chest till she zonked finally at 6 !!!! i had my alarm to go off at 7 so i got one hour of sleep. Now she is doing great though, Laurie ( her babysitter and "Grandma D") is so good with her and she got her back on the right schedule it is so nice not having to worry while im at work that she is just crying and crying. Kate loves her and so that makes me happy. She is getting so big, she has little thunder thighs :) they are so cute and she loves her swing. She just giggles and smiles when you swing her up high in the air sometimes its the only way to get her to stop crying. I cant wait till i can stay at home with her, she is just so much fun!!!

Five Weeks Old

So Kaitlyn in now 5 weeks !! i cant believe how fast it has gone by. I was supposed to return to work this past monday but my boss said i could have an additional 2 weeks so i am so excited to spend more time with Kaitlyn. She is growing so fast she now weighs 8 1/2 lbs. I have been struggling with her sleeping schedule but we are working through it and starting to figure it all out. She doesnt seem to like to nap with me but as soon as anyone else picks her up she is out like a light. It is crazy to think that im a mom now im loving every minute if it.

Alan is such a proud daddy he just loves his little katie bug. He is always so happy to come home and take her away from me :) We love watching her grow and develop, she is following us with her eyes a lot more and she smile all the time.

Our Little Angel !!!

Well Kaitlyn finally decided to join our family on feb.4th she weighed 6lbs. 15 oz. I absolutly love being a mom, she is such a good baby and so beautiful. I cant stop looking at her it is so hard to get things done i just want to hold her all day long and not put her down. So far im feeling pretty good im recovering well and starting to get around a lot more so that is good. Alan has been such a wonderful help to me, he just loves his daughter so much and i get a kick of out of watching him change her and burp her and rock her to sleep he is such a good daddy and he is just eating little katie bug up.

Sick Husband, Pregnant Wife

Well Alan has been so sick these past couple days, i sure hope baby can wait until He feels better. Only 10 more days left now It kinda feels like Christmas all over again, getting all excited and counting down the days knowing your getting a present that will be great. Only this time my present is going to be the best present i could ever receive.

Well i have only 11 more days left till babys due date. Im getting soo excited and so ready to be done being pregnant. Over all i really enjoyed being pregnant it is so amazing to feel her moving around in there, and when i lay down at night she kicks alan in the arm :) Right now it's getting pretty hard to sleep because of my hips they get really sore, but that is ok only a little longer.
