Dear Kaitlyn,

When you were very young your daddy started trying to "scare" you and surprisingly you just loved it! I didn't think you would like it but now that you are a little bigger if someone is on the floor you sneak up behind them and, put your little hands on their backs and giggle :)

This video im posting of you was last night you were being so funny and i love when i tell you to find daddy you already know what to expect and you walk ever so carefully to the edge of the kitchen just waiting for dad to jump out and get you! It reminds me of when i was little and my brothers would play like that, im glad your not to chicken ;)

Yesterday you rode the horses with Grandpa again, only this time you went for a long time! you just loved it and you didn't want to come down. ( It really is ok if you want to be a cowgirl daddy doesn't really mind, he is just pretending cause one time dad tried to climb on top of a horse and it didnt like him so it thew him off and cut his head open! Daddy is still holding a grudge and hates them. Also i think he knows your uncles will make fun of him if he likes horses :)

Feeding the Turtle

Dear Kaitlyn,

Im sitting here watching you do the cutest thing. Today dad and i bought you a blow up turtle tube for swimming this summer and you have been sitting in the turtle for 30 minutes now. Soon you started bringing things in the tube with you, first you grabbed your bag of hair ties and sat in the turtle. After a while you kept getting up and filling your turtle up with your prizes and sitting with them giggling to yourself. Pretty soon you were sitting on my makeup, dvd's, hair things, lids and wrappers. You are just to funny i dont know where you think of these things.

LIttle Drummer Girl

Dear Kaitlyn,

So we went to Grandma and Grandpa Jones to celebrate Daddys birthday last night and as you always are you were the star of the show. Grandma has these drums That you love to play with and pretend you are an indian singing HAHA.

Before Grandpa Jones got home you were kinda grumpy

mostly tired i think but when grandpa came walking

through the kitchen you got so happy :) You just love to spend

time over there and talk to Grandpa.

Im so glad that you have a Grandpa you love to spend time with and get to know, Grandpas are special i think and you to are going to be just great friends.

So little miss kaite bug i was in the living room and i noticed that is was awfully quiet so i thought where did that little missy go? So i walked down the hall and you were in the bathroom (of course) with your hand in the toilet.

So i thought it would be funny to scare you since you LOVE IT!!

SO i said "what are you doing" and you jumped and turned around and you tried to walk toward me but i didnt notice there was a huge puddle of toilet water on the floor and you lifted one leg and went straight back BOOM on the floor.

SO you looked at me to see if you should cry so i started to laugh and you sat up and giggled at yourself.

YOU ARE SO BUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i said. Kaite bug you are so funny, it is never a dull moment at our house. *sigh*

Dear Kaitlyn,

You have got to be one of the most precious girls in all the land!!! I LOVE your personality, i dont know where you think of some of the things you do but i just love it. The other night your dad and i just sat on the couch and watched you do silly things, talking to everything and laughing at nothing.

You are such a happy girl and i realize just how happy you are when im around other peoples kids and i think "wow that kid cries ALL THE TIME!!, im so glad kaity bug is so good"

and you are, im not just saying that because im your mom you really are just so happy and i just love you.

I loved watching you ride the horses with grandpa you have a special place in his heart and it makes me smile to see you make him smile.

Lately you have been tilting your head back and running as fast as you can knowing you will biff it and when you do you laugh histarically i just love that.

I know that right now you are hurting with your teeth coming through but just know it will end soon just eat that yummy sugary Tylenol and let mommy suck your nose out and all will be ok, oh and if you just hold still when i get you in your pj's it i will done quicker, just a thought :) I love you sweetie :)

Sleepovers Already!!!

Dear Kaitlyn,

I miss you already missy may you are over and grandma jones having a sleep over! I hope you are having fun, I keep thinking to myself oh where is kaitlyn she is being to quite then i remember that you are not here and i get sad :( It sure is different not hearing you sweet laughter in this house.

You bring so much joy to our little black family, i cant imagine life without you. I dont even remember what me and daddy used to do all the time before you came along, lots of tv i suppose.

Sweet Dreams

Dear Kaitlyn,

One of my favorite moments with you is watching you slowly drift off to sleep, i love how your eyes start to roll back then they pop back open and you look up at me like haha you thought i was going sleep :) Then you start to drift and pretty soon i see just white in that little slit when your eyes are open just a tiny bit. You are the most precious girls and i love you so much!

Kaitlyn Verses the Nano Dots!

Dear Kaitlyn,

My sweet dear Kaity bug daddy was wicked and he got his birthday present early, so when his package of nano dots arrived today he shouldn't have let you see.

These tiny bright shiny metal magnets all 1728 of them are not for you to eat in fact i would hate to see what would happen if you swallowed two of them.

So please look with your eyes and maybe just maybe you can play with them when you are bigger

Renewed blogging commitment

So i was talking to a friend at work today and she was telling me about a friend she knew that did something cool with her blog and im totally going to steal her idea.

I realize now that the reason i do not keep up on blogging is because i dont feel like i have anything exciting enough to blog about. Im now going to blog letters to my daughter things that i want to tell her. Im also writing in her journal so that she can have something in my handwriting when she grow up and as i have more children it will get more interesting as i go a long.

Im excited and im going to try really hard to keep up with things i dont even know if anyone reads this or not so feel free to comment:)
